Biography

He is currently a Senior Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the Division of Network and Systems Engineering. He is now acting as Secretary for the Full-Duplex and Self-Interference Cancellation Emerging Technologies Initiatives (FD-ETI), created by IEEE ComSoc to promote full-duplex communications and self-interference cancellation technologies.

He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in April 2019 under the supervision of Carlo Fischione and Gábor Fodor. He received the BSc (with honors) and MSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He worked as a research engineer at the Wireless Telecommunication Research Group (GTEL) in Fortaleza from July 2012 to March 2015. During the autumn/winter of 2013-2014, he worked in an internship at Ericsson Research in Stockholm, Sweden. During Spring/Fall 2018, he was a visiting researcher at Rice University in Houston, Texas, USA.
