News

Biography

He is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in the Division of Network and Systems Engineering. He is now acting as Secretary for the Full-Duplex Wireless Communications Emerging Technologies Initiatives (FD-ETI), created by IEEE ComSoc to promote full-duplex communications.

He received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, in 2019 under the supervision of Carlo Fischione and Gábor Fodor. He received the BSc and MSc degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará, Fortaleza, Brazil, in 2012 and 2014, respectively. He worked as a research engineer at the Wireless Telecommunication Research Group (GTEL) in Fortaleza from 2012-2015, and during the autumn/winter of 2013-2014, he worked in an internship at Ericsson Research AB, Stockholm, on the topic: Development and performance evaluation of RRM procedures for Device-to-Device Communications. During Spring/Fall 2018, he was a visiting researcher at Rice University under the supervision of Ashutosh Sabharwal in Houston, Texas, USA.
