Alessandra Parisio – Bio
I received my degree in Computer Engineering at the University of Sannio in 2005.
My thesis work was concentrated on the “Simulation of steel plants for the development of production strategies”.
In 2009 I recived my Ph.D in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Sannio. During my Ph.D
I spent one year at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), Zurich, working on the research project
“Use of weather and occupancy forecasts for optimal building climate control (OptiControl)”.
As a Post Doc within the Group for Research on Automatic Control Engineering (GRACE), University of
Sannio, I worked on optimization and control of energy systems, in particular microgrids and energy
hubs. Currently I am Post Doc Research fellow within the Automatic Control Laboratory in the HVAC group at the Royal Institute
of Technology (KTH), Sweden.
