I
work within the Master's Program in
Design and Implementation of IT Products and
Systems
offered here at the KTH. It is an applied
technical
program that builds on
your engineering or computer science expertise, and ties it to skills
that allow you to
influence and optimize how products and process are realized in the
companies you will associate yourself with. Specific
questions
about the program should be sent to the program director using the
email address
ips.masters@ict.kth.se.
If you are doing your MS thesis work in
my group, here is where you can find all the
instructions
and guidelines for getting your thesis work done.
I often talk with students and others
who are
contemplating applying to graduate school somewhere, and are wondering
why they should apply for yet more school. I also often
receive
email from future students who are interested in the application
process. Here are a couple of links that might help.
- The first one gives my top 10 reasons
for going to graduate school and getting a Master's degree.
- The second gives my
own ideas and tips about the
application process to a graduate program.
Note that the second link about ideas and tips are simply my own ideas,
and do not necessarily reflect official KTH policy, or in any way
establish a set of official rules. They are only my thoughts
on
what I like to see in an application for any kind of graduate or
professional position.
