Daniel Ljunggren

Update 2011: I'm now working at Optronic AB as senior consultant optics specialist.

--------
I'm a research fellow in the Laser Physics group at KTH in Stockholm, working on photonic quantum information physics and quantum optics. It involves experimental and theoretical studies of quantum light sources and light-matter interactions in exotic nonlinear media, leading to sources of single-photons, entangled photon-pairs, and quantum memories.

Since my postdoc in Kuhn's group at Oxford University I also study the generation of single photons from single atoms in cavities, and the storage of single photons in atomic gases using EIT.

Ph.D. and M.Sc.E.E. degrees from KTH.
