  WELCOME TO MY BRAIN
                       
Teresa Wennberg is a multi discipline artist, born in Sweden. 
    Studied classic oil painting at Atelier Harburger and Academie de la Grande 
Chaumiere in Paris, France. Studied photography with Neal Slavin and worked 
     with John Cage and  Nam June Paik on art, sound and video.
    One of the very first artists to make 
    video at the Centre Pompidou in Paris (1978), 
 she  went on to explore
  the digital world of computers, first 2D, then 3D animation,
which she also studied in Japan and France.
 Since 1997, she has been developing Virtual Reality and computer art  
      at 
 the Royal Institute  of Technology 
      KTH in Stockholm and writing about 
digital media.
      Currently, she is also involved in creating and restauring stained glass windows
for a baroque church in the Pyrenees mountains in France. 
  Her multidisciplinary
      background: law, economics, language, painting,
      computer graphics
     has fueled an interest in cognitive functions such as language, memory and perception,
     which often consist a foundation for her work 
      
    
      
      She  has received numerous grants and awards and has participated 
 in several important international exhibitions such as: 
Biennale de Paris; Ars Electronica, Linz; Musee d'Art Moderne  de la Ville de Paris;

      Lisbon;  Centre G. Pompidou Paris; Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo;
