the KVA (The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences),
and the RFBR (The Russian Foundation for Basic Research)
The conference is aimed mainly at young mathematicians from Sweden and Russia, but participants from other countries are also welcome. The emphasis will be on the interaction of the Combinatorics and Dynamics, and their relation to Probability and Mathematical Physics.
We plan to expand collaboration between strong research groups working in these areas in Sweden and Russia, and also to encourage cooperation between people working in different areas.

The conference will take place during the first week of October, 2000, (Tuesday October 3rd to Saturday October 7th) at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden.
