Ryozo Nagamune was born in Yamaguchi, Japan, in 1972. He received PhD degree from Division of Optimization and Systems Theory, Department of Mathematics, the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), under the supervision of Professor Anders Lindquist. He has been a post-doctoral research fellow at the the Mittag-Leffler Institute, Djursholm, Sweden (Jan.2003 - Jun.2003), and at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of California, Berkeley (Sep.2003 - Aug.2005). Currently, he holds a researcher position at the Department of Mathematics, the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden.
