This was an extremely boring game. Brynäs played with their hearts and really fought for their last chance to stay in Elitserien. It was obvious, though, that their self-confidence was almost negative. Djurgården didn't play at all, except for Christian Due-Boje and Thomas Östlund. Thanks to the latter and to Brynäs' inefficiency, DIF got away with a draw and sent Brynäs to Allsvenskan.

Thanks to Tommy Sandlin, the last two minutes were actually quite exciting. Brynäs' goalie Mikael Sundlöv was replaced by a forward in a last attempt to stay in Elitserien. Now Brynäs put enormous pressure on Djurgården's defence, but Thomas Östlund made some remarkable saves, giving DIF an undeserved point.

In the last second, DIF had a shot that went into the open Brynäs goal. Unfortunately the last second was over when the puck entered the net. I think it's time to play with the basketball rule :-)

Game rating (1-5): 1
