Cells number 10 and 11 are singled out by the fact that they never get any offspring. See the cycle matrix (link down left).

Cycle matrix Det = 0

See the 11x11 cycle matrix in a new window!

In the cycle matrix the 3x3 communicating P-matrix (corresponding to the three primary rotor cells) is visible up left.
Also, the two zero columns to the right indicate that cells 10 and 11 get no offspring.

The two other spaceships, Light-weight and Heavy-weight Spaceships
LWSSHWSS
exhibit almost exactly the same behaviour. See their cycle matrices for comparison: LWSS and HWSS.
It appears that the P submatrix of the three spaceships are identical. This means that each spaceship has three primary rotor cells in the front vertical row . One can also see that LWSS has one cell with no offspring (one 0-column in the cycle matrix) and that HWSS has three in the upper part of the pattern.
Limit matrix

Only the PH part of the limit matrix is displayed. The components figures are exact. Each row contains the relative genetic impact indices. Hence the genetic impact of cell 2 is greatest. The limit matrices LWSS and HWSS contain the same genetic row (which is an eigenvector of PT corresponding to the eigenvalue 1) but has 10 and 12 rows respectively.
