Cycle matrix |
Det = 0 |
See the 12x12 cycle matrix in a new window!
The three 1:s in the diagonal of the cycle matrix indicate that there are 3 (bushing)
stator cells (white).
The other 9 cells are secondary rotors (violet).
The cell numbers up right conform with the row/column positions in the matrix .
Note the communicating 10-11-12-block which takes a small influx from the stator 3 only
and does not have any influence on the other rotors.
According to the diffusion principle /see 'Genetic aspects' this group will, attain
the color of the stator cell 3. This is visible in the limit matrix to the right.
Note that the determinant is 0.
This means that the initial state can not be recovered from later color indices.
This could be attributed to the cells 10,11,12 whose subdeterminant is 0, probably because of
the 'twin birth' taking place around cell 11 at the 1-2 generation step.

Limit matrix |
Note:
Only the G* part of the limit matrix is given (exact and in floating numbers),
i.e. the influence from stator m (if black) on rotor n is seen in column m and row n-3.
The 1:s in rows 10,11,12 in column 3 illustrates the diffusion principle:
Since the group 10-11-12 is subordinate to stator 3 only, it will
asymptotically attain the color of stator 3.
The genetic impact of the stators (column sums of the G* matrix) are
2.587, 2.043 and 4.370 respectively
