Firewire DV over IP

For those folks interested in the IEEE1394 (Firewire) DV over IP
discussed at the NC meeting (BTW, thanks Tyler and co.) please

It's fairly important to follow recommendation for specific hardware.
At SC'98 the DV over IP demo team had difficulties with the Sony PC1
camera whereas the Sony VX-1000 worked fine. The VX-1000 is pricey,
$4,200... maybe if there's a lot of interest we could think about
a group leveraged purchase. Let me know if you're interested.
