Emil Ringh wsa born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1989. He received a M.Sc. degree in Engineering Physics with specialization in applied mathematics from KTH, Stockholm, in early 2014. During his studies he spent one semester on exchange at NUS, Singapore.
He wrote his master thesis for Ather Gattami (Ericsson Research) and Johan Karlsson (KTH) during the second half of 2013. Since March 2014 he has a position at the department for Radio Access Technologies, Ericsson Research.
Since September 2015 he is a PhD student at the Division of Optimization & Systems Theory and the Division of Numerical Analysis, Department of Mathematics, KTH; under supervision of Elias Jarlebring, Johan Karlsson, and Per Enqvist.
