The gods of Finatchia

The good gods

These are the gods that normally are considered as true good gods. They may sometimes have own plans but usualy work together to keep the circle of freedom safe from beeing affected by evil.

Ultara
The godess of travel over the oceans and all kind of messengers. Her church got temples in most countrys. It got a strong grip over information since the Ultara priests meets many travelling followers that gladly helps the priesthood hear news from the other side of the free world. The largest temple is located to the desert country of Al'Kryza. Ultara got followers in most countrys with the exception of the hillmans of Wyntox and Maxadi. Ultaras priests has started to try converting the hillmans but the success have so far been very small. The trolls of Elroch never converts from their own religion but have for unknown reasons proved to show a little more respect towards Ultara and allowed Ultara's priests to build small temples on Elroch.

Alroth
Alroth is a god that is very concerned about the danger from evil. His followers are thought to challenge the forces of evil at any cost. Many countrys have strange secrets left in the ground that is very deadly to discover and Alroth's church got a strong place as the protectors from this treat. The followers or Alroth are not very many but they make up for this with their devotion and good contacts with other good groups. The most important target for the priests are the undead and fire is thus the main weapon for the priests. Alroth's church got a strong influence in the Guild of Magic and often acts as represents for the knights of Zenatharion. Alroth got his main temple in the highcity on Zyr but most of his priests are normally away from the temple to search for traces of evil, rumors claim that there actually are ocasions when the temple on Zyr is completly empty.

Yvlum
Yvlum is the god of hunting, revenge and justice. His priests are experts in languages and often acts as judges in places where the local goverment lack strong representives. Yvlum got very strong support in Uzkadia but also got large temples in many other countrys. Yvlum also got a strong representation in Zyr and his will is seldom ignored in the Guild of Magic when his priest makes a judegement about what is wrong to do.

Petelia
The godess of peace, joy and music. Her followers are completly against violence but understands that others sometime must use it to combat evil. Petelia got many followers in the highman cultures and the orient that all got a reasonably high culture level. The priests of Petelia all works as bards and are often vital in peace negotations. There is often conflicts between local bards and the priests of Petelia since the Petelia priests are considered to be deluxe priests by most common people.

Fylizia
The strange godess of night and the moon. She got a very strong grip on the elfs in Fazik but doesn't get followers in other country with a few exceptions. Not much is known about Fylizia and a widespread history says that the reason that Fylizia is so remote is that she is angry on the other gods since her people was forced to move to Fazik in ancient times. It is also said that she hates the trolls beyond belief but the elfs refuses to speak about this with outlanders and nothing is confirmed.

Arak
The god of nature, animals and birth. Arak is primary a elf god but got followers in most places. Arak doesn't share Fylizias feeling towards other races and many humans get in contact with his church since it has a strong place in Fyldezia. Fyldezia is a land that is ruled by both humans and elfs and Araks church closely reflects this joining.

Mandelotz
He is often called the god of the future. Strong areas include fate, luck, visons and wisdom. Mandelotz is a very mysterius god that got followers in every country except Elroch. He got a very strong place in the orient and got a huge influence in the Guild of Magic. Mandelotz priest seldom seek evil to combat it but they are on the other hand very effictive when needed. Rumors says that the darkness fears Mandelotz more than any other god since his visions let's him understand their true motives.

Inzit
Many would not place the sun god among the good gods since his people in Inzita is known as one of the most war possesed people in the free world. One of the main points in his religion is that his country should expand but most wise sages and more important the gods places Inzit among the good gods. Inzit doesn't got very followers outside of Inzit but his priests are sometimes seen outside of Inzita on secret missions. The priests of Inzit that is the center of Inzitas goverment are hidden in mystery. Rumors says that the Guild of Magic regulary discuss how Inzita can know so much secret information. If Inzita really got the intelligence network they claim to have or if Inzit helps them actively is an open question but clear is that the small hard people following Inzit is a force that mustn't be forgotten.

Dynia
The godess of agriculture, fertility and ancestors. Dynia naturally got a strong place in many cultures. Rydoz, Kyndoz and Iklytz is countrys that is more or less partly under her guidence but most countrys have temples devoted to her. Dynia's priests often use the Alysaion (wisdom of the ancestors) that is a large gathering of diffrent kind of information from ancient times. The material is completly unstructed and spells from Dynia is needed to get anything from it. Common people that can't aford getting help from Mandelotz priests and wants to avoid Syruths strange prophecys often consult Dynia even while she only provides good advises.

Harinda
The godess of death, dawn and healing. Harinda has many followers but seldom interfer with the normal world except when the forces of darkness is involved. Harinda is equaly represented in most countrys but got her main temple in Parax.

The suspected gods

Many of these gods would sometimes be regarded as evil but they would surely stand with the good gods during an attack from the lands of the night and are thus accepted but allways suspected for doing diffrent kind of crimes.

Irutz
The god of strengh, war and death. He got many followers in Wyntox and Maxadi, since the hillmans likes Irutz's war filled religion. Irutz's power is great but he has never been able to accept that Harinda's powers are greater than his own and is constantly intrigueing to get more power.

Haz'kta
The god of war and magic. He got suporters mostly in the orient, Arcadia and Toladia. Haz'kta was very usefull during the last great war where his followers created great havoc among the enemy. Even while this help was needed the millitary leaders from the knights of Zenatharion was very disapointed with the lack of cooperation from Haz'kta's men that made it very hard to keep the defence of the eastfront storng.

Mazk'tesch
The troll god of war and thunder. Mazk'tesch is a very secret god that appeared 6000 thousand years ago together with the trolls. Mazk'tesch doesn't take followers that isn't trolls and his true strengh is unknown. There are rumors that claim that Mazk'tesch isn't a god at all but others claim that his powers are greater than even the chaos gods. The trolls often jokes about the fact that Mazk'tesch is the only one with a temper that is even worse than their own and something that is sure is that Mazk'tesch is a god that you should avoid fighting if you want to stay alive.

Madak
The god of animals and trickery. Madak can hardly be described as evil but his interest in jokes and theft makes the other gods despise him. Arcadia, Toladia and Uzkadia is places where his followers are many but he got small temples over the rest of the world too. Many people that works with less legal buisness follow Madak and he has sometimes earlier than others discovered treats from the darkness throu these contacts.

Aglytz
The god of arts and competition. Aglytz has a strong place in Wyntox and Maxadi but also got followers in other countrys. Aglytz very seldom challenge the forces of darkness but comes when the other gods asks. Aglyzt's followers often arranges large competitions. The followers generally promotes selfishness and raises all kind of winners in great glory. Many former winners has discovered that a single defeat can be enough to make them dispised by all. The key rule is that nobody are permitted to keep their status if the don't keep getting better and better.

Syruth
The god of the oracle from Itanx. Syruth is an ice god that mostly got followers in the far north of Ardezia. From the island Itanx between the ice and Ardezia he commands his followers throu his oracle. Most elfs doesn't trust Syruth since it is believed that he knew that the trolls had arrived but didn't warn the Ht'lians before they were killed by the trolls. Clear is that Syruth knew the trolls were there since his priests was the one that reported about the trolls battle against the darkness northen army (the reality of this battle was later confirmed by the trolls themself with very realiable evidence).

Endaya
The godess of magic, elementals and poetry. Endaya has a very strong place in the Guild of Magic and got her main temple in the highcity on Zyr. Endaya is not actually the god of the elemenatal races but wants to guide them and borrow their strengh when needed. All the elemental races including the elfs (that can't be affected themself) depise her and want to avoid any contact. Many humans follow Endaya since she grants strong powers but priests from other religions often argue that Endaya's priests use the power in the wrong way. Endaya priest never hesitate to attack evil but also rents their service to the highest bidder when needing money without caring about the consequences.

Kyr'dak
The god of hunting. Kyr'dak is the god of many cultures that gathers food. He strongly opposes civilzation and his followers sometimes try to let nature recapture land and they are thus often faced with bladed weapon from the local people when they appear.

Orol'kta
The god of metalcraft and creation. Orol'kta doesn't got many followers openly but still got many craftsmen that follow him secretly. In ancient times he was the god of both dwarfes and highelfs but he claims to have lost their worship and deny any knowledge of where they did disapear. Orol'kta was neutral during the war about the anvil of the dawn and there have been many speculations why both the dwarfs and the highelfs shared the same god but still went to war with each other. The gods refuses to discuss the truth behind this.

The chaos gods

Secret gods that commands vaste armys and plot for the destruction of anything. It is not known if they got a real reason for their action or are just evil beyond belief. Their connection to demon lords are uncertain but many believe that they command many of them directly.

MaMeth, Orniuk and Ma'raz
The three mystrius gods that rules the land of the night. Not much in known about these three but most people believe that their power greatly exceds the normal gods. They have never been seen outside the lands of the night with the exception of the two large wars where they were seen behind the enemy lines commanding the attack. Many legends says that the lands of the night is divided into four parts and this has made many speculate over if there perhaps are more than three chaos gods present but nobody has been able to explain why this fourth god didn't join during the great wars.
