If the event is a desireable event its probability can be called a chance, i.e. "there is a chance that...". If the event is not desireable its probability can be called risk, i.e. "there is a risk that..."When we were to travel to Los Angeles, there were a number of different ways we could do it. One, very unlikely, option was to go by car, for free! There are a number of companies in the US specialising in transporting cars from one place to another for other companies by using tourists as drivers. The deal is, basically, that the tourists delivers the car to the destination by a specified time and gets a free tank of gas and maps for doing it. So we called up Autodriveaway and turned out to be lucky. They had a car from SF to LA for us! Less fortunate, however, was the weather during our LA visit. It was pretty cloudy most of the time and since we only stayed here for a couple of days we concentrated on a few attractions.
