Information for prospective students

For PhD students
We are always looking for outstanding students in the area of design and evaluation of networked systems. Please send me an email including CV and transcripts and a short summary of research interests if you are interested in doing research in one of my research areas.

For MSc students
We are always looking for outstanding MSc students to perform their thesis work within our research projects. There are a number of projects announced on the school's home page (here), they fall into the following three areas
  • Adaptive content delivery systems for video and audio
  • Cyber-physical security for critical infrastructures (electric power systems, transportation, etc)
  • Mobile edge computing for cyber-physical systems
The thesis project can be adapted to your analytical and programming skills. If you are interested in a particular topic that I announced, please send me a mail with your transcripts and CV.

If you would like to define your own project in the area of networked systems then please send me a mail with your transcripts and with a maximum 1 page project proposal. The project proposal should explain

  • The importance of the topic and the challenge that you would like to address
  • The way that you plan to address the challenge
  • How your skills make you able to perform what you plan to do
If the proposal is sound then we can elaborate on the exact topic to make it suitable for a thesis project.
