Dr. Jonathan Edge

Since autumn 2013 I have been a post-doctoral fellow at Nordita in Stockholm. Here I have been working with Alexander Balatsky and also Janos Asboth in Budapest. From 2010 until 2013 I was a post-doc with Carlo Beenakker at Leiden University. Before that I was a graduate student at the University of Cambridge with Nigel Cooper.

Research Interests

Recently I have started working on multiband superconductivity but I am also continuing to work on various differrent topological systems in condensed matter physics, in particular quantum walks. Before coming to Leiden I was working on collective modes in ultracold atomic Fermi gases and probing superfluidity in ultracold atomic Fermi gases. My work focused on signatures of the FFLO phase in the collective mode spectrum of ultracold Fermi gases.
